Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts is the area's umbrella arts agency. We serve as an advocate for artists working in all the disciplines and a clearing house for information on all aspects of the arts. We promote theater, music and dance performances as well as an exhibition series based in the Lebanon Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College.

Our long term aim is to provide the arts in the Lebanon Valley with a home where rehearsal, performance, educational and exhibition facilities will be housed

 
Susan Spahr
A Lebanon County girl, Susan Spahr was raised in Cleona and is a graduate of Cedar Crest High School, Central Pennsylvania Business College, Institute of Certified Travel Agents and Lebanon Valley College. A school-to-work program offered her the opportunity to work in a travel agency twenty-four years ago, and she has never left the industry. In 2000, Susan returned home after living in Wyoming and opened her own travel business - Journeys, Inc.

Spahr has been carrying a camera with her for as long as she can remember. Her goal has always been to reproduce on film what she saw with her eyes. “I have been very blessed with the opportunity to travel. It is thrilling to capture on film those things that took my breath away.”

A proud member of Lebanon’s downtown business community, Spahr is a member of the CLA (Community of Lebanon Association), The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Lebanon Valley Sertoma Club, and The Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts.
