Cecily Joyce

Cecily Joyce was born in Lebanon in the late sixties and has lived in this area most of her life. She studied Art and Psychology at Columbia University and Lebanon Valley College and Art Therapy at NYU. She is currently working on her thesis.

A painter since her childhood, when she chose art lessons over girl scouts, she won National Scholastic Art Awards in High School. In line with her interest in Art Therapy her paintings serve both as a means of expression and as a way to tap into the healing that comes from the power of creativity.
