Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts is the area's umbrella arts agency. We serve as an advocate for artists working in all the disciplines and a clearing house for information on all aspects of the arts. We promote theater, music and dance performances as well as an exhibition series based in the Lebanon Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College.

Artist Statement
Since childhood I have had memories of sitting on a stool watching my father do woodturnings and other wood projects. When he passed away in 1998, I inherited his lathe and tools and began teaching myself how to turm wood. I became enthralled with the Art and sold my business and jumped at every opportunity I could find to learn and create. In 2005 I began taking classes at Lancaster VoTech and traveling to Reading to study with a husband and wife woodturner team from England. I went from a 25 year career as a Flight Trauma Nurse to owning my own design and fireplace restoration service.
In 2007 I was accepted into the Mt. Gretna Art Show as a "Emerging Artist". I enjoyed the opportunity very much and was even more inspired by the comments and success of doing this show. I now take every chance I get to spend time in my studio creating new pieces with the hopes of some day being able to display this special Art form in a museum.
I am a current member of the Pennsylvania Wood Turners Association and involved in helping to recruit well known wood artists for workshops and seminars. We arrange monthly meetings with demonstrations and share  techniques, unique designs and future opportunities.

Please visit me at my Website www.turning-a-round.com as I not only turn-a-round a piece of wood into a Art form but also hope to be instrumental in turning-a-round lives of people and our community with the opportunity to learn Art and Music.
